2021/2022 Sprint 1 Learning Exhibition

Every 6-week Sprint at ActonKL ends with our Eagles putting on a Learning Exhibition to showcase their efforts and learnings. The work presented by the Elementary and Middle School Launchpad Eagles, including their website were ALL done by Eagles themselves. Credit goes to them entirely.
In case you are wondering, for this Sprint, the Preschool Eagles' focus was on core skills. Hence they do not have a Learning Exhibition for this Sprint.
Where possible, do spend a generous amount of time browsing and giving growth mindset feedback. The Eagles appreciate feedback as it helps with their continuous growth & improvement.
Quest - Tribe Building (Prediction Tools)
In this Sprint, Eagles explored team-building challenges. Among them was to create a Lip Dub video and vote for their updated Studio Contract.
At the same time, the Eagles explored tools used in the studio to determine the future and increase their probability of success.
Writer's Workshop - Biography
Having chosen a Hero to write a biography, the Eagles explored their life journeys, researched the challenges that they faced and how they overcame them, their Hero's Journey.

Quest - Becoming a conversationalist
The art of conversation is an important skill - making it easier to try new activities, meet new people, make new friends, and help put others at ease. For this quest, Eagles examined the tools and traits to create and hold a great conversation.
Genre - Becoming an Interviewer
Eagles compare and contrast world class interviewers, as they learn the art of asking penetrating questions. They study great interviewers and interviews, from William F. Buckley to Oprah to Jon Stewart, noting the strengths and weaknesses of each. Then each Eagle wrote (and re-wrote and re-wrote) an email inviting a hero for an interview.
