… or spin like a ceiling fan, or open and close like a drawer!

Dealing with Disappointment

Each time a  PS Eagle who lead the game suggested the ‘Drawing Game’ this week, they received a, ‘I don’t want to play’ response. The PS Eagles are expressing their opinions and wishes more ad more now, but, in turn, they need to practise handling disappointment and rejection.

The game leader has a choice to continue with the role, playing their chosen or allow another PS Eagle to pick up the session with their choice. The game session moves forward as they decide and they learn negotiate and give way.

Quest: Distant Learning / Montessori Cultural – Geography

“We always go back to Melaka but a haven’t seen A’Famosa?”

Elementary Studio (ES) Update

Prepping for Exhibition

Week 5! This week, the ES Eagles had one last launch led by the MS Eagles. Kudos to the MS Eagles … they have made great progress over the 4 weeks of leading. With each launch they grew more confident and capable with the ES Eagles. You could see that they were better prepared amongst themselves, but even when the preparations were last minute, they made it work while knowing the risk that it might fail.

Thank you, MS Eagles, for leading the launched and unplugged sessions this Sprint. For this week, the ES Eagles learned about variables in coding.

Coding Exhibition

It’s all stops pulled this week in preparation for next week’s Exhibition and the ES Eagles are busy making their programs fun and exciting. They have been tweaking the games and instructions, exchanging feedback and even asking their parents to test out their instructional writing.

“It’s a relief to hand in my instructional writing already!”

“I can concentrate on my game now.”

“I made so many dances but couldn’t get them right! I chose one in the end.”

Asking others for their feedback/opinion helps to tweak your presentation.

Look out for the upcoming Virtual Exhibition this Thursday! The Eagles have been working hard to set it up and co-ordinate all the information posted in the platform!
