Exhibition Preparation
The PS Eagles finalised their creations and shot videos in preparation for next Monday’s Exhibition. Having done it before, they were more confident this round.
On Friday, some PS Eagles were seen not spending their Eagle Bucks at the Eagle Store. AZ and IA said they were saving the Eagle Bucks to buy something more expensive than the 1EB items.

Learning Moment
This week saw the first Hurt Incident since the first Sprint of the year … an Eagle hit their fellow Eagle.
The Eagle who had hit his friend admitted what had happened and made promises not to do it again. He made Recommitment to the PS Studio and all the PS Eagles welcomed him back into the Studio as a Hero. The Eagle who was hit was praised for his bravery in being honest with his feelings and readiness to forgive, and was also applauded as a Hero in the Studio.
Montessori Cultural – Animal Kingdom
The challenge for the Exhibition was to make a 3D model of an animal/pet. The PS Eagles were given recyclable items such as cardboard, egg trays, empty plastic bottles and toilet paper tubes, hot glue guns, paint and brushes during Work Time to create fantastic 3D animals/pets.
Quotes of the Week:
- I burned my hand with the Hot Glue.
- I burn my hand too.
- My chick fell apart, so I’m making another one. I am making a fish now.
Elementary Studio (ES) Update
Crunch Week!
The ES Eagles are on high gear preparing for this Sprint’s Exhibition. In this Sprint, the Eagles will be presenting a cooking video and pitch.
Eagles have been thinking of where they would want to go after this pandemic and will be pitching their ideas during this Sprint’s Exhibition. The pitch with the highest votes will be the place of choice for their field trip.
During this week’s weekly reflection, one Eagle shared that he was in the panic zone. “I am in the panic zone because I don’t know how to video myself while presenting slides!”
Eventually another Eagle suggested using a certain site for it. He then shared it and guided his fellow Eagle through it. Peer learning at its finest!
Another Eagle said that she was in her challenge zone. “It’s really challenging trying to remember my script and learning how to cook, and video at the same time.”
The Eagle who took charge of the Exhibition arrangements this round was very diligent in reminding his fellow Eagles to submit their videos and Writer’s Workshops. He found ways to reach out to them … even hijacking his mother’s phone to text the other parents:
For WW, I don’t have any doc or video for:
1.
2.
3.
4.
…So,please send the WW on Sunday or your WW will not be on the site for exhibition.
From,
P.S. send it before noon please
Kudos to him for his efforts!
The Exhibition will feature videos of the Eagles preparing their ‘specialties’ – udon, melt-in-your-mouth cookies, onigiri … join us for the Exhibition to get your stomach all excited!
